Worked for last seven years with Scottish pro, David Maxwell. Won the Open de Grenoble just a few weeks before successfully gaining his card at the 1998 Qualifying School.

As of 2025, Cixous is a Master Pro member of the PGA France and operates the JPCixous Putting coaching center at GolfSkills Center in Chavenay, near Paris.
